The Institute of Capacity
Building and Policy Studies (ICBPS) of the South Ethiopia Regional State is
pleased to announce a comprehensive, application-oriented training program as
part of its ongoing commitment to strengthening institutional capacity, fostering
innovation, and promoting evidence-based policymaking.
This training is designed to
bring together scholars, researchers, trainers, policymakers, and development
practitioners to engage in meaningful knowledge exchange, acquire practical
competencies, and cultivate a growth-oriented professional mindset.

Digital Data Collection Tools,
Data Management, and Data Analysis Using SPSS and ArcGIS (Application-Oriented)
Training Objectives
- To enhance participants’
practical skills in digital data collection technologies
- To strengthen competencies in
data management and quality assurance
- To provide hands-on experience
in statistical analysis using SPSS
- To introduce spatial data
analysis and visualization using ArcGIS
- To promote evidence-based
decision-making and policy analysis
